Cap 365

The Star Spangled Avenger's First 365 Adventures

Captain America and The Falcon #195By Jack KirbyMarch 1976
Cap and Falcon bust out of the Royalist Army labor camp and are given a tour of the underground base by Cheer Chadwick, the daughter of one of the ruling elite class.
The society is being brainwashed and primed for a post-Madbomb world where a few ruling elite members will control the populace, complete with Clockwork Orange-type conditioning and more than a few nods (including the title of the ish) to 1984.
Cap and Falcon are pressed into membership in the Arena, which I assume is a gladatorial killsport we’ll see more of next issue.
Oh, and the Army is hunting for Steve and Sam, led by the preposterously named General Argyle Fist. Seems to me this would be a job for Col. Armbruster.
